The culture of a nation is a reflection of its soul.
Taking into account the cultural doctrine of our time, which strengthens Ukraine’s recognition on the international stage through its rich national and cultural heritage, and with the aim of fostering national-patriotic education among young people and increasing awareness of our region’s cultural traditions, Ukrainian culture, and elements of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), we are launching the regional essay contest “Exploring the Elements of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the World” for the second time.
CONDITIONS👇:
This year’s essay topics:
✅ “Copyright protection in Ukraine and abroad”;
✅ “New ICH elements in the National Inventory or UNESCO Lists.”
Eligibility:
Students of higher and professional pre-higher education institutions in the Dnipropetrovsk region are invited to participate.
Participants must submit by email to 📩 [kultdor@gmail.com](mailto:kultdor@gmail.com):
✔️ an essay (up to 3 pages) with one photo related to the essay topic
text: Times New Roman, 14 pt, line spacing – 1.5, margins – 20 mm, Word format
photo: 1 image from open sources, separate file, jpeg/bmp, up to 2 MB;
✔️ an application form for participation (submitted individually, not as a group).
One person may submit several entries.
The application must include:
essay title,
participant’s full name,
city/town/village of residence,
institution and year of study,
contact phone number and email.
File names must correspond to the participant’s surname (e.g., Ivanenko_Essay, Ivanenko_Application).
❗Submitted works will not be reviewed or returned.
🗓 Deadline for submissions: October 24, 2025.
