Of course, we have always been convinced that very talented and creative people live and work in the communities of Dnipropetrovsk region. But the results of the regional review-competition of folk customs and rites were simply stunning! You will understand us when you see the competition videos yourself (we wrote where you can do it at the end of this post)
So.
The winners and finalists of the competition have been determined! Their award ceremony took place on the site of the summer lecture hall of the Dnipro National Historical Museum named after Yavornytskyi. And this, in our opinion, is symbolic. Because the main goal of the competition is the revival and preservation of customs, traditions and ceremonies that are common in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
A total of 34 applications from 22 united territorial communities of the region were received for the competition. The Mezhivske community was the most active – they submitted eight works to the competition!
And, to be honest, determining the winners turned out to be a difficult task for the competition commission.
As a result:
The first place was divided between two communities, which did not give in to each other in the quality of the performance of the competitive work.
– KZ “Pydhorodnensky city cultural building named after T.G. Shevchenko” with the work “Ritual actions on the Kupail holiday”;
– KZK “House of culture, leisure and folk creativity “Pectoral” of the Ilarioniv settlement council” with the work “As it will be reaped, so it will be reaped.”
– Third place in the “Cultural Services Center of the Gubyn Settlement Council” competition with the work “Rite of Spring”.
The teams of these institutions were awarded with diplomas and certificates for receiving a deputy subvention from the deputy of the regional council, the head of the department for culture and sports Liliia Hyrenko.
And for the organizers of the competition and the competition committee, the main reward is unforgettable emotional impressions. Which for everyone have become a real #source_of_strength and spiritual filling with the beauty of Ukrainian culture.
