Exploring the Elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage Around the World
To mark the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage initiated by UNESCO, a meeting with scholars and students of the University of Customs and Finance was held under the title “Exploring the Elements of Intangible Cultural Heritage Around the World.”
The conference was divided into two parts:
✅ Part I – Scientific and Practical Session.
Experts in the fields of culture and law discussed copyright in ICH, the digitalization of cultural heritage, and two regional elements – “Petrykivka Decorative Painting as a Phenomenon of Ukrainian Ornamental Folk Art” and “Cossack Songs of the Dnipropetrovsk Region.”
✅ Part II – Presentation of the Second Regional Essay Competition.

REMINDER OF THE SIMPLE COMPETITION RULES
❗️IMPORTANT❗️ The deadline for submissions is November 10, 2025.
Participants must submit the following to the organizers’ email address [kultdor@gmail.com](mailto:kultdor@gmail.com):
📌 An essay up to 3 pages long with one photo related to the essay topic (text: Times New Roman font, line spacing 1.5, size 14 pt, margins 20 mm, in Word format; photo: 1 item from open sources as a separate file, jpeg/bmp format, up to 2 MB);
📌 An application form for participation. Applications are submitted individually (not as a group). One person may submit multiple entries. The application must include the essay title, participant’s full name, city/town/village of residence, place of study, year of study, contact phone number, and email address.
File names must correspond to the participant’s surname (for example: Ivanenko_Essay; Ivanenko_Application).
