International Day of Women and Girls in Science became a wonderful occasion to celebrate the winners of the “Forgotten Experiments” lapbook contest, organized by our colleague and scientist Oksana Buturlina.
Developing scientific literacy among students and encouraging them to engage in research and experimental activities is so important! We are thrilled that over 60 entries from 120 students were submitted to the contest.
We also remembered Valeriya Lavrenko, who in 2016 launched the project “Woman, Your Place is in the Laboratory”, which, with support from Julia Pischanska, became a mainstream museum initiative.
