Forum of NGOs for Intangible Cultural Heritage

Our NGO has joined a large team of like-minded partners after receiving accreditation 🤝
The UNESCO Committee regularly holds online seminars, working meetings, forums, and discussions, covering topics such as:
✔️ Cooperation of NGOs from UNESCO member countries on safeguarding and protecting Intangible Cultural Heritage (#ICH);
✔️ The impact of conflicts and climate on cultural heritage sites and #ICH elements;
✔️ Methods for researching sites affected by armed conflicts or disasters, and more.
Recently, we participated in an informational session of the NGO Forum on #ICH, where they discussed the accreditation process for NGOs that provide advisory services to the 2003 Convention Committee.
The world seeks balance, and UNESCO is no exception—it advocates for geographically balanced representation of accredited NGOs and for strengthening the role of civil society in heritage protection.
