We congratulate the winners of the regional competition among public libraries “Treasures of Dnipropetrovsk Region: Studying, Valuing, and Promoting”! 👏
The award ceremony was held on the eve of the International Day of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
During the event, participants spoke extensively about #IntangibleCulturalHeritage, watched videos from two of the winning libraries, and enjoyed performances by the folk ensemble “Pershotsvit” from the Pavlohrad area.
The space was filled with the sound of #CossackSongsOfDnipropetrovskRegion.
We sincerely thank our colleagues who supported the initiative to honor librarians and provided wonderful gifts to 15 libraries across the region:
regional council members Liliia Hurenko and Nataliia Lysenko;
the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Cultural Workers;
the Regional Methodological Center for Club Work and Folk Art;
the Board of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine;
the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Austria in Dnipro;
and the Dnipropetrovsk National Historical Museum named after D. Yavornytskyi.
We also thank our new partners in implementing cultural initiatives — the national chain of beauty and health stores EVA and the Austrian Cooperation Bureau in Lviv.
