Let’s return to the topic of IDPs – complex and in need of attention. 👆
Let’s remember GenderEdCamp Dnipro-2024. This annual event was held for the sixth time. And every year its participants try to find a solution to the most important problem, which is “here and now”.
The difficult topic “Integration of women and children of IDPs” caused a lively discussion, because the integration of these categories of citizens into communities is not easy. And there are social and psychological reasons for this. 🧐
An important innovation of the current GenderEdCamp Dnipro was the invitation to the participation of educators from among IDPs and directly women with children who became forced migrants. ✅
The key task, which was solved together by all participants, was the creation of an algorithm for the integration of IDP women and children in communities. First of all – thanks to the opportunities of education. Immersion in the educational process allows you to socialize, find new friends, and build your future.💪
Just think about the numbers. Sometimes they speak for themselves about the situation.
Almost 390,000 IDPs and more than 300,000 families who moved from other regions of Ukraine, where active hostilities are taking place, have been registered in the region since the beginning of martial law.
