The event that all the rowers of the region were waiting for finally happened: the Open regional tournament in rowing on ergometers was held in Dnipro for the prizes of the Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, the medalist of the 1996 Olympic Games, Dina Miftakhutdinova. The purpose of the competition was to determine the level of general preparation, physical capabilities and psycho-emotional state of the athletes, as the Ukrainian Academic Rowing Championship will start soon.
– Any distance is a certain stress for an athlete. And this is influenced by many factors, both physical and psycho-emotional. I would like to note that in 2022 there was not a single All-Ukrainian rowing tournament. Therefore, this year’s event is a real holiday for young athletes and a chance to show themselves, our colleague Dina Miftahutdinova is convinced.
According to the results of the competition, 7 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze winners were determined.
Separately, WOMEN plus presented gifts to the youngest participant of the tournament – 12-year-old Mizikinia Vera and two girls whose birthdays were celebrated on the eve of the competition – Nagorna Viktoriшa and Dmytryshina Alla.
