Olympic silver medalist @Dina Miftakhutdinova held the 8th Open Tournament in Rowing. We were also there to support her and the participants.
This year, the competition was held among children aged 9 to 13 who are just beginning to practice this sport. More than 60 girls and boys from the cities of Dnipro, Kamianske, and Samar gave their best during their performances on the rowing ergometers. The noise of the machines was almost drowned out by the loud cheering of the children for one another. ☺️
Everyone left with gifts: participants received certificates, medals for their will to win, and sweets, while winners and medalists additionally received KFC restaurant vouchers from the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Austria in Dnipro (Iryna Fomenko) and commemorative souvenirs from the Dnipro Regional Branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
In addition, the youngest participant of the competition and the winner in her age category received a special gift from the children’s food brand Elfik Magic.
