Training of the intangible heritage for region’ teachers

“The Ukrainian song is an ingenious poetic biography of the Ukrainian people” (O. Dovzhenko). This and the mysteries of the Petrykivka painting were discussed during a training seminar for teachers of educational institutions. Specialist of the Dnepropetrovsk Academy of Music named after M. Glinka and the masters of “Center of the Folk Art “Dyvokray” presented positive emotions, new knowledge and souvenirs, painted by the participants of the training by themselves. Thanks for the help in organizing “Representation of Prydniprovia” and “DACO”.

Women and girls in science

For the second year in a row, we join the international community and perform with the Dnipropetrovsk National Museum of History named after D.Yavornitskii as a co-organizer of the Women’s Day in Science. The main barriers for girls in the scientific field are stereotypes and prejudices in society. This and the other spoke during the event. We are proud of our fellow scientists who help us implement exciting innovative projects.

Presenting the Cossack songs of Dnipropetrovsk region to musicologists of Europe

The Second International Ethnomusicological Symposium “Topical Issues of Eastern European Ethnomusicology” was held in Dnipropetrovsk region. Among the guests are musicologists from Austria, Serbia, Lithuania and regions of Ukraine. They spoke not only about the science of music, but also about its role in preserving the element of intangible cultural heritage – our “Cossack songs of Dnipropetrovsk region”. It is a pleasure to be involved in such an important matter that not only unites the regions of Ukraine, but also makes it involved in other countries of the world.

Forum of the women leaders

About the phenomenon of Ukrainian women, their talents and virtues spoke with the authors of the book series “She did it. It does. She will do it. ” in the framework of the forum, which was held on the basis of the Petrykivka village council. Representatives from six communities in the region shared their experience of implementing local initiatives to promote women’s leadership. Such meetings give an opportunity to get acquainted with active women – our like-minded people, to hear high praises of the WOMEN plus projects and to inspire new ideas.
