Sharing our knowledge about the cultural heritage of Dnipropetrovsk region

A good teacher never stops learning. We’ve helped to bring this principle to life for arts teachers from our and Kirovograd regions. We have something to be proud of and something to talk about, since the intangible cultural heritage of Dnipropetrovsk region is recognized all over the world. Students and teachers of the Academy of Music named after Glinka demonstrated the peculiarities of Cossack songs, and the masters of the Center for Folk Art “Dyvokrai” taught teachers a unique technique of Petrykivka painting.

Tales of kindness and faith in her are born in childhood. The author of such fairy tale is 12-year-old Jan Balashov, a childish direct, sincere and emotional dreamer and fantasist. We helped arrange his first benefit night and it was great. We are convinced that there are many works, presentations and fans ahead of the young storyteller!

Children with special needs in the museum

Children with special needs have a surprisingly bright taste! It can be seen in all works presented at the exhibition of children’s art “The world through the eyes of “special children”. Pretty dolls, bright pictures, embroidery made by their hands. Joint Project of Dnipropetrovsk National History Museum named after Yavornitskyi and the Multidisciplinary Establishment impressed and, hopefully, attracted the attention of the community of the region. The most creative children’s libraries have been identified

38 libraries from 9 cities and 8 districts of Dnipropetrovsk region participated in our competition “My Creative Library”. We’re really impressed by the number of ideas for exhibiting and holding library events. There were: family workshops, literary battles, quests, geocaching, puppet theaters, pet shows and more. Each library has their interests, finds, creatives: clubs of interest and theaters, concert and playgrounds. It is not easy to choose the best among such creators, but we did it! We congratulate the winners: 1st place – Pavlograd Children’s Library, II – Kamianska and Mezhivska Children’s Libraries, III – Tomakivska Apostolivska...
