The International Day of the Struggle for Women’s Rights and International Peace is a holiday approved by the UN decision almost half a century ago.
A modern Ukrainian woman is completely different than at the time of making this decision. Today, she stands in defense of the country and law and order, saves lives and teaches children, works in a mine and at a metallurgical enterprise, is engaged in lawmaking and volunteering, plays hockey and football. There are no purely female or purely male professions left in Ukraine. A woman participates in all spheres of society. We are equal and free.
Today, women of civilized countries of the world have united around the idea of international peace, against violence, for equality. We are convinced that #WOMAN_CAN_DO_EVERYTHING!
