Today is the All-Ukrainian Breast Cancer Awareness Day. It is an important occasion to draw the community’s attention to this existing problem and to raise women’s awareness about the importance of early diagnosis.
That is why Women Plus, together with Ella Honcharova and Project Kesher in Ukraine, held an educational lecture dedicated to this serious disease.
The key reminders for all women👇
Once a year it is recommended to:
have a complete blood count (CBC);
visit a gynecologist;
women under 40 should undergo an ultrasound examination;
women over 40 should have a mammography screening.
Important!
Women of all ages are advised to perform monthly self-examinations and pay attention to any changes.
Take care of yourself and remember: it is better to prevent a disease than to treat it later.
