NGO WOMEN plus together with “Representation of Prydniprovya” announced a competition for the best fairy tale for readers of primary school age.
We look forward to your illustrated fairy tales until May 10:
Terms of participation:
1. To participate in the Contest are accepted fairy tales with illustrations for young school-age readers, written in poems or prose in Ukrainian.
2. Works should be dedicated to the theme of friendship.
3. Fairy tales must be original and not published before. The works that trace plagiarism or debt of some fragments of the work are not taking part in the competition.
4. At the end of the work, the name and surname of the author of the work and the author of the drawing should be indicated.
5. Volume of a fairy-tale work: up to 3 pages. Times New Roman font, spacing -1.5, size 14, margins: upper, lower, left, right – 20 mm, Word for Windows text editor). The name of the files must be signed according to the name of the participant of the Contest (for example: Ivanenko_Kazka; Ivanenko_Application)
6. Tales that contain profanity, elements of aggression, extremism, violence, national and gender discrimination, any other grounds are not allowed to participate in the competition.
7. A single author can submit only one fairy tale.
8. A work submitted for competition must be accompanied by no more than three illustrations made by any technique (watercolor, oil, graphics, pastel, etc.) that correspond to the content of the fairy tale.
9. The illustration must be made on thick A4 paper or in the following formats: JPG, CDR, PDF, the resolution of the growth images shall be at least 300 dpi. The name, surname, age of the author, contact telephone number, and title of the work to which the illustration was made should be placed on the back of the drawing. Inscriptions on the front of the drawing are not allowed.
10. The author of the illustration may be the author of the fairy tale or any person who consents to the use of the drawing to illustrate the fairy tale.
11. Drawings may not be used without the consent of their author.
12. Submitted works are not reviewed and will not be returned
