Being a Volunteer is an Honor

Today, volunteers are an unbreakable support that brings us closer to victory.
There are many in our community, but one of the most notable is Lyudmyla Murkovych, Head of Novopokrovka Village, who inspired people to volunteer and turned her community into a humanitarian hub.
From the very first days of the war, they began welcoming internally displaced persons. Thanks to the joint efforts of business representatives, local authorities, NGOs, and youth, the community established a “kitchen battalion”, which still sends food to our defenders. Charitable marathons, auctions, and fairs are also held on a regular basis.
Ahead of the New Year holidays, the community’s youth activists delivered handmade treats to several regional hospitals, crafted with love, care, and gratitude for the chance to live their daily lives.
Our deputies, Liliia Hyrenko and Dina Miftakhutdinova, support the development of the community and its youth: thanks to deputy grants, a children’s playground and a sports ground were built, and meetings are regularly held at the Regional Council, the NOC Branch of Dnipropetrovsk Region, and the Planetarium Noosphere Dnipro.
