“Supporting women in politics.”
NGO WOMEN plus joined this project, which is implemented in Ukraine by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and EAF Berlin and acts as a kind of “portal” for establishing direct contacts between Ukrainian politicians and Germany and other European countries.
For us, this is an opportunity to gain new skills for the implementation of social projects.
Today, the first online meeting of project participants took place – 32 participants, representatives of Eastern and Central-Eastern Ukraine: deputies, representatives of public organizations, authorities at all levels, in particular, the Ministry of Statistics, volunteers.
From our public organization, five representatives of different spheres of activity – sports, culture, medicine, local self-government – are taking part in it.
We are grateful to Iryna Hrytsai and the Foundation for the opportunity to join the cooperation. We have some experience in the implementation of women’s leadership projects aimed at uniting women who work in different fields, but have a common goal – to make the lives of our compatriots better.
Participation in the new project will allow us to implement the work of European politicians in modern Ukrainian realities.
