Trouble unites people

Ukrainians have a good proverb “Trouble unites people.” We are peaceful, hardworking and friendly. But when disaster strikes our land, we become one. During the trials that befell our country, we learned to combine our professional activities with volunteering. We unite to help those who need it.

Among our colleagues are representatives of various professions, and all of us, united, created a kind of action centers. Our athletes hold competitions and training sessions for immigrant children. Cultural workers organize children’s creative workshops and weave camouflage nets. Educators make pies and dumplings so that the soldiers do not forget the taste of homemade food. Doctors conduct first aid training after work. We are different, but we are one.

NGO Women plus organizes weekly deliveries of food (from meat to baked goods) to hospitals where our soldiers are treated and to residential institutions where seriously ill children are. We are supported by entrepreneurs, farmers, educators and officials from various communities of Dnipropetrovsk region.

We are doing a common thing. We unite and this unity gives us strength and faith in our victory.
