A creative contest “A female figure that influenced my life” was held among public libraries of the Dnipropetrovsk region and their readers. 174 applications were received.
The participants of the competition sent for consideration by the jury a quote from a book about a woman or a quote from books written by a woman who made a special impression on them, together with a photo with a thoughtful image of such a woman.
27 libraries made it to the finals.
The competition not only united book lovers, but also showed how deeply our compatriots are familiar with modern and classical literature.
There were both children and adults in the photo of the participants. Their images were inspired by both book and real heroines, or world-famous politicians. The quotes given by the participants once again showed the strength of the figure, character and independence of a real Ukrainian woman. Modern and business, modern and coquettish, balanced and sensible. So different and recognizable in the world.
Finalists and winners of the competition received diplomas and valuable gifts on behalf of the head of the regional council.
