Took part in the conference organized by the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO

Hello! “Women Plus” is now in Lviv.
A conference organized by the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO is taking place here.
Its participants from different parts of Ukraine, Germany, Poland, and Austria are lively discussing issues related to the theme of the event – “The power of culture and education during the war” ✅
From the NGO colleagues who work in the field of education and culture.
During the discussions, we conveyed our opinion to the participants about the elements of the National Art Museum, which are located on the territory of our region – the Petrykiv painting and the Cossack songs of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
We were waiting for the exchange of experience, research practices, monitoring and tools offered by UNESCO for the protection of cultural heritage and its restoration in case of damage or destruction.
The war in Ukraine was an impetus for many countries to ratify the 2nd protocol to the Hague Convention of 1954. Unfortunately.
We have rethought and found new ways of communicating and teaching children about cultural heritage.
Culture is a global asset.
What will we return home with?
With useful cases and the feeling that we are not left alone with our problems.🙏
Many National Committees of European countries support us, Ukrainians, and are already forming collaborations to help Ukrainians in the protection, development and reconstruction/restoration of cultural heritage.
Thanks Olena Shtepa for the invitation!
