Together with the members of the “Women in Sport”, Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine branch in the Dnipropetrovsk region (headed by our Liliia Hyrenko), we visited the children of the Center for Social Support of Children and Families “Good at Home” and handed out sports gifts for active recreation and physical education.🏃🏃
Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, Paralympic champion, eight-time silver and bronze medalist of four Paralympic Games Oksana Boturchuk 💪 and Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Worker of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine, multiple champion of Ukraine told them about the history of the Olympic and Paralympic movement, interesting facts and bright sports moments in volleyball, champion of Europe and the World Masters Games, head of the structural unit “Dnipropetrovsk Territorial Regional Public Organization “FST SPARTAK”. 💪
And a fun and active workout for almost 30 children who are currently in the institution was conducted by Anna Andreychenko, master of sports in weightlifting, multiple champion of Ukraine among weightlifting masters, record holder of Ukraine among weightlifting masters. ✅
– Taking care of children’s mental health is a duty not only of parents, but also of society. Especially now during martial law. Mental and physical health, proper development – this is what we should always pay attention to and respond to in time, – noted Liliia Hyrenko.
