V Gender Forum: “Equal rights – great opportunities”

Gender issues in Ukraine are part of the zone of new and serious challenges.

That is why holding the 5th Gender Forum in Dnipro under the patronage of the National Committee of Ukraine for UNESCO was not just timely, but an objective necessity. The goal is to inform the representatives of territorial communities of the region about today’s gender issues.

“Equal rights are great opportunities.”

This slogan of the Forum should now become a real effective policy for the sustainable development of territorial communities.

The participants of the forum were representatives of the UTC of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

What were we talking about?
– about changes in the gender profile of communities caused by the migration of internally displaced persons
– about gender-based violence in modern conditions and ways to overcome it
– about the economic and social development of the territories
– about the role of gender-oriented budgeting in the reconstruction of communities
– and many more important issues that need to be resolved now.

The materials of the forum will be published later on our website https://womenplus.com.ua/. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with them – they reveal very serious problems that few people imagine today.
