Girls – finalists of the regional festival “Techno-Girls Dnipro” π©βπ¬π©π»βπ§π©πΌβππ·π»ββοΈπ©βπ» proved that success in professional activity is important for a woman!
4οΈβ£ years ago, this ambitious project for girls was launched by our colleague Oksana Buturlina to ensure their professional orientation free from gender stereotypes. It seemed like something fantastic, not so many people understood and supported the ideaπ€.
However, time and perseverance did their job and today we saw so many original works and met so many talented girls.
All the participants of the contest showed that self-realization of women is possible in various fieldsβΌοΈ
What is it about?
The other day, the award ceremony of the finalists of the Techno-Girls Dnipro festival took place at the training center of the Ukrainian industrial company “Interpipe”.
“Interpipe” company is a long-term partner of the event. This year, the marathon was also supported by the public organization “Noosphere Association”, the company “She is”, the IT company “COMPARUS UA” and the Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education.
More than 160 participants from the Dnipropetrovsk region took part in the competition. In a month, the competition commission received more than 300 works for consideration in four nominations: the “Techno-girls Dnipro” logo, a unique t-shirt of the “Techno-girls Dnipro” community, the “STEM Princesses” video/animation, and the “Girls of Steel” report.
More than 70 participants became the winners of the festival and will study for free for several months at the school “Techno-girls drive!”, organized by the partners of the festival.
β It should be noted that this year three educational institutions of the region were among the leaders of STEM education in Ukraine: Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education, Dnipro Secondary School No. 84 and Novomoskovsk Gymnasium No. 2.
