All-Ukrainian project “Let’s Stand Together” unites 14 regions of Ukraine
Goal: creation of an effective integrated system of support for people who have experienced war-related sexual violence through the organization of assistance to victims taking into account international experience and regional characteristics, involvement of representatives of civil society, authorities and local self-government, law enforcement and judicial systems, mass media , medical and social workers.
Many like-minded people joined the on-/offline event – more than 80 participants from Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
More than 3 million people and about half a million internally displaced persons live in Dnipropetrovsk region.
Unfortunately, many of them have their own personal traumatic experience. Therefore, the topic of sexual violence in wartime is topical.
The project will last until March next year.
