Let’s talk about a recent event that took place on the DNHM of Yavornytskyi☝️
The conference called “Who is protected by the guardian?…” brought the attendees back to the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
They talked about women scientists who made a significant contribution to the development of museum work, archeology, and historical research.
The museum staff has a strong scientific component, most of which are women. Scientific publications and scientific works of researchers, the heritage of archaeologists, collections of the museum exposition were presented to those present.
In Ukraine, 46% of scientists are women. In DNHM, this indicator is about 70% 💪,, and the age range is 22-73 years old!
We have seen some of these women scientists at the event, many of whom we know personally, others we have read and heard about, some inspire us.
Today, they fulfill the mission of not only guardians of the past, but also become courageous guardians of historical heritage.
