Talked about women’s health with young people

How to protect women’s health, prevent unwanted pregnancies – was discussed with students of the Dnieper College of Railway Transport. Usually young people do not discuss this with adults, but today this topic was raised by our colleagues from the regional Health Center. We talked about the dangers of abortion and advised how best to protect yourself from it. We believe that our stories will help young people take the right steps. Last year, 6 girls under the age of 14 years old, 88 girls aged 15-17 and 230 girls aged 18-19 aborted their pregnancies in Dnipropetrovsk region. At the invitation of the NGO Gender Club Dnipro, WOMEN plus joins the project “Mrs. Patronessa: resocialization of victims, networking, charity and cooperation to combat domestic violence.” This problem does exist and needs to be addressed at all levels. Every day we become more and we become stronger.

WOMEN plus is a partner of the national record

For many years, WOMEN plus has been a partner in organizing and holding a large-scale ethno-festival “Petrykivskyi Dyvotsvit” and setting national records during its holding. This year, the National Register of Records of Ukraine recorded the largest mosaic panel in Ukraine from fragments of Petrykivka painting. This is the ninth record of Petrykivshchyna, officially recorded. As well as Petrykivka District Council and master performers, we received the certificate of record partner. We are proud and preparing for new records.
