Petrykivka master class for children

A bright holiday of Petrykivka painting was organized for the pupils of the specialized medical-rehabilitation center for children and teenagers. The masters of ME ”Dyvokrai” told the young artists about the unique Petrykivka art and its Cossack roots, and then invited the children try to draw postcards themselves. With their fingertips, children and teenagers drew bunches of viburnum, flower bulbs on the school bell, which has already announced the beginning of the new school year. We wish the children that this year was as bright and colorful as the pattern they drew.

We are proud of our involvement in the history’ reproduction of the native land! It’s so cool – to study legends, learn about new objects, meet unique people. The competition received more than 160 stories from 73 museums and libraries in 19 districts and 12 cities of the region. Themes of legends range from the origins of villages to the mysteries of natural objects. There are legends of ancient times, and there are those that have emerged recently.
