Prevention and counteraction to domestic violence

We’ve discussed the situation in the field of prevention and counteraction to domestic violence. A great deal has been done during the year of the relevant law. We’ve something to be proud of, because we are involved in these positive changes. During the regional conference on combating gender-based violence, was presented the Regional Gender Portrait, in the preparation of which “WOMEN plus” took a direct part.

5th anniversary of the intangible heritage of Dnipropetrovsk region Celebrated the 5th anniversary of the inclusion of the Petrykivka decorative painting on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Currently, this list has 390 items. And only one of them – Petrykivka painting – represents our state. And in the course of three years our region received one more significant victory – the UNESCO Committee included “Cossack songs of Dnipropetrovsk region” to the List of non-material cultural heritage requiring urgent protection. Talk to women about feminine

We organized a series of lectures on social and psychological support for active women. The first such trainings, with the participation of psychologist Larisa Narizhna and chief doctor of the Dnipropetrovsk medical and physical training dispensary Lidija Dukach, were held in Nikopol, Pokrov and Pavlohrad. They talked about age physiology aspects of the female body and the benefits of good mood and active lifestyle. Thanks to our listeners for interesting questions and suggestions for new topics.

WOMEN plus shared their experience with the women of Ukraine and the world

Nearly 250 women-leaders of public, charitable, and political organizations gathered in Odessa. Women, who make good every day, bring joy and unite thousands of people around them in Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Serbia, Georgia and Israel, was sharing their experiences. Representatives of “WOMEN plus” had something to tell. We hope that our work will be useful for colleagues in different regions of Ukraine.

Consolidation the women’ rights in legislation

The theses of the draft law on ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men in the electoral process, 30% level’ quotation of women in parliament, the issue of women representation in communities, equal rights during the election process.
