Living Heritage Unites Generations

Under the slogan “Living Culture – Living World”, the annual All-Ukrainian festival took place at the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, bringing together friends from different regions of the country. These were people who preserve, promote, and pass on elements of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) to future generations, as well as its living bearers.
The festival presented elements included in the National Inventory of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine — traditional crafts, songs, rituals, and dishes.
Among the participating regions were Poltava, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv regions, and of course Dnipro region, which impressed visitors with the mastery of Petrykivka painting, the rich taste of Karnaukhivka poured porridge, and the melodies of Cossack songs.
The festival once again proved that Ukrainian cultural heritage continues to live and develop, uniting us all.
It is our value.
It is our identifier.
