On the occasion of Ukraine’s 70th anniversary of UNESCO membership, the festival of Ukrainian folk songs “Song Echo – 2024” was held in Pidhorodne.
The festival, which brought participants together through a circle of song, featured bearers of the Intangible – Cultural Heritage element “Cossack Songs of Dnipropetrovsk Region”:
– Folk-ethnographic ensemble “Krynytsia”
– Folk ensembles “Bohuslavochka” and “Pershotsvit”
– Children’s satellite group of “Krynytsia” – “Krynychenka”
– Ensembles “Zhuravka”, “Zhuravochka”, and “Kilchenski Zori”
We extend our gratitude to the Pidhorodne City Council (Vitalii Morgun) and its council members for promoting the ICH element “Cossack Songs of Dnipropetrovsk Region.”
