International Day of Women and Girls in Science became a wonderful occasion to celebrate the winners of the “Forgotten Experiments” lapbook contest, organized by our colleague and scientist Oksana Buturlina. Developing scientific literacy among students and encouraging them to engage in research and experimental activities is so important! A representative of the NGO Women Plus, Iryna Fomenko, took part in the event “Empowering Women of the Chernihiv Region”, implemented with the support of the USAID Ukraine project “Strengthening Public Trust in Ukraine” of the United States Agency for International Development. At the Dnipropetrovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry, she met businesswomen from the Chernihiv and Poltava regions, Vice President of the DCCI Dina Sidash, and Director of the Dnipropetrovsk Investment Agency Valentyna Zatyshniak. We call on everyone to learn how to provide first aid. These skills can help you save your own life or the lives of others in critical situations. Recently, we at WOMEN plus / ЖІНКИ плюс attended a first aid training session at one of the healthcare institutions, where we: 📌 studied the first aid response algorithm 📌 practiced life-saving actions on a training manikin named “Vasia.” Our group included four members of the Regional Council.
