The forum “Living Culture – Living World” brought together people dedicated to the preservation of elements of intangible cultural heritage (ICH). Over a hundred participants attended. They listened to Minister of Culture Mykola Tochytskyi, engaging reports from First Deputy Minister Rostyslav Karandeyev, and Head of the Culture Department of Dnipro Regional State Administration Natalia Pershina. On a Cossack Note The Cossack songs of Dnipropetrovsk Region are a true treasure. In 2016, the global community recognized their value and included them in UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding. 👏 They preserve the spirit of history and tradition and unite generations. These songs resonate in the hearts of both young people and older generations. With the goal of promoting these songs among children and teenagers, we organized a coloring contest titled “Cossack Songs of Dnipropetrovsk Region – Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.” A total of 14 works were submitted to the contest.
